Hytale has, undoubtedly, shown that it is...inspired by Minecraft. It is not in any way a ripoff, but it is similar, for the most part, to Minecraft; although at the same time it is very different. However, different or not, we can expect to receive many more features than what Minecraft has, as well as many of the same functions.

And as this crossed my mind, I thought of something: The commands. Minecraft has several commands that are naturally built into the game without any mods, such as, /summon or perhaps /locatebiome. But will Hytale have commands similar, or, even any commands at all?

And my initial conclusion was yes, Hytale would indeed have commands, but when I thought about it more, I found something much deeper, that being that Hytale might not include this feature for the safety of the court.

Many of us know that Minecraft may not be very happy with Hytale, seeing that it will draw many players away, and so there is already a risk of Minecraft suing Hytale. And while so far, Hytale may be in the safe zone (Get it? Zone?) from these threats, commands would perhaps take it too far...and therefore they may not be added, although it would be nice to see them in the game.
